Chip's story
Meet this handsome fella named Chip! He and his brother Dale came into the shelter on March 13, 2019 when their owner was moving and could not take them along with them. They are 10 months old, current on shots, and super sweet energetic pups who are full of playfulness and love to share. Chip is a true dark black with white dog and Dale is a blackish brown with white. Dale is more submissive of the two and is a few pounds less than his brother. He love to run and play fetch with a ball and is eager to bring the ball back for you to throw it again. Dale likes to Chase his brother when hes fetching a ball. They are both wonderful boys who will do well in a home that can continue to work with them on basic puppy manners so that they can mature into even more amazing g adult dogs. If you have another dog and are interested in meeting another potential new furry member please bring him or her to the shelter and meet on neutral ground before adopting. No need to shuffle the animals around any more than necessary. Please know that 1 mosquito bite can create heart worms and they can be fatal if not treated. It is VERY important to keep your pets healthy and protected by keeping them on a once a month heart worm and flea/tick prevention. These animals are counting on you as their owner to provide them with lots a love and the proper health care so PLEASE make sure you are aware and prepared before adopting. Owning a pet is an extra expense and responsibility but is so worth every minute and penny you invest in them. They will add lots of joy and unconditional love if given a fair chance.
